The NRUSA Premier Soccer Program
Players interested in playing college soccer or participating in other competitive venues may choose to participate in this program. The NRUSA Prmier teams are coached by Virginia Tech men's and women's soccer coaches. Coaches from the Virginia Tech Strength and Conditioning program and the Sports Medicine Department also assist with training and injury prevention.
The Premier program is more intensive and requires a larger time commitment than a traditional travel team. Teams currently train three times per week throughout the year. Teams also seek highest level of competition, compete in State Cup, and participate in numerous tournaments of the highest level available.
Over the past three years, the NRUSA Premier program has graduated 12 players who have moved on to play college soccer at both the Division I and Division III levels. This program has also developed players for Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Cave Spring, Hidden Valley, Radford, Giles County, and Pulaski County High School teams.
