The February 15th deadline for registration for the spring season of the Rec League has now passed!
If you are still looking to register, your registration will now be placed on a wait list with a late fee of $20 added to the registration fee.Payment for late registration must be made at the time of on-line registration by credit or debit card.Although, we try our best to place all of those on the wait-list, we cannot guarantee your child will be placed on a team.If we are unable to place your child on a team, you will receive a refund of the registration fee, minus the $20 late fee.
If you have a child registered to play this spring, you can expect to hear from a coach about your child’s placement on a team with practice time and place by March 2nd. Practices are scheduled to start late February or early March. The first game weekend is March 17th.
The equipment your child will need to play soccer includes:
-Cleats (not required, but recommended)
-Shin Guards (required)
-Appropriate Sized Soccer Ball
oU6 & U7, size #3
oU8 – U13, size # 4
oU18, size #5
-Athletic Shorts (NRU will provide the game jersey & socks)
-Water Bottle

The spring season is just around the corner and with that comes the need of new soccer gear! New River United has been fortunate enough to once again partner up with Dick's Sporting Goods for their coveted NRU DICK'S DAY!!! In the past, our club has had a huge presence at these events and we don't want this Spring to be any different. In order to continue growing our relationship with DSG, we need as many NRU people to show up as possible. Just for being a member of NRU, Dick's Sporting Goods is giving us discounts on all soccer equipment, as well as everything else in the store. In order to continue growing this relationship, we can't emphasize enough the importance of having a great showing.

NRU members, FUTSAL is back!! The fall season is behind us, making it time for indoor season to get under way. Futsal is open to ALL players U9-Adult, so whether you are a rec, a travel, or an adult player; the TSP/NRU Futsal league has a spot for you!
Season runs from Jan. 2 - Feb. 25 and in addition to the regular season, are PLAYOFFS!!
